Carmen Sarbu is a visual artist and researcher working in painting, drawing and installation, continuously exploring a variety of themes and concepts inspired by the political, social, or cultural sphere. With propensity for materiality and textures, the artist seeks to express in her works, certain emotions, a sense of human and material fragility, the narrative of an act, as well as fragmentary memory.
