(2013-2014)

    An Umbrian landscape with cypresses and rich vegetation has been the source of inspiration for these artworks. In the Pawns series, I explore the possibility of a fusion between culture and nature by introducing an unusual path in the Umbrian naturalistic landscape and the restrained presence of stylized figures, which I called pawns, with obvious reference to chess, game, or obedience.
